Chitra Pournami Festival On 20th April 2008. Celebrated grandly at Sunway Murugan Alayam.Paal Kodam was taken in the morning session. Chariot " Ratham" (pic) went whole sunway, desaria, Datuk Hormat area.Big Crowd followed Ratham, with Urumi Melam, Karagatham, Nadeswaram Group.
Chitra Pournami, is a unique Tamil festival observed on the full moon day (Pournami) in the month of Chitirai (April – May). The day is dedicated to Chitragupta, the official keeper of deeds in the abode of Yama
